JR.`s Bar & Grill in Houston

My boyfriend and I walked into this bar and the woman bartender laughed at us after we handed her our IDs, clearly indicating we were 21, and asked if we read the door because we have to be 25 to drink there. The door only said “no minors” that’s it. So if not wrong, a minor means under 21. I am 22. Never coming back. So disrespectful. If you are looking for a better bar go 3 blocks down to Max’s Allegheny Tavern. Beyond better service.

Good food, cold drinks , locals,not smoke free,

Bartenders were cool bit they let street vendors take over the rear seating of the bar. There were 3 different vendors in the seating area which took up 3 of the 5 tables there was 1 table occupied by guests and the other was a 2 seater not enough for the party of 4 that I came with we had to sit at separate locations which was not comfortable we end up taken our business else where

A friendly place even with the metal detector and pat down on entry. It's a typical Pittsburgh neighbourhood bar. Locals only but a couple of Canadians felt welcomed.

The woman's bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned!!

Plenty of room for fun and unity. Local sporting events on TVs.

They need to have specials everyday maybe some fruity drinks would be nice

Drinks are less expensive.

It doesn't sell coke, Pepsi or ginger ale to non drinkers.

Located on Northside of Pittsburgh. Had a pleasant experience.

Ok spot to have a beer when you wanna relax. The old school dj is the truth and the atmosphere is very chill.

Great wings for eat in or take out. When they have a DJ he plays great music. They also have a pool table.

Stopped there only to wait for AAA, walking distance to the hospital, music was VERY loud, restroom was horrible, in fact I was afraid to use it do I didn't. Only nice thing about it was the waitress.

Nice place for daytime cocktails...they are also 1 of the few places to get an alcoholic slush different flavors weekly and Tonya the daytime bartender is my fav.
